Bio - Fr. Jose Martinez Valenzuela, OFM (Pepe) - Parochial Vicar/Vicario

Hi everyone:
I come from a family of five sisters and two brothers. I am the
fourth of the older. All the members of my family live in San Luis
Potosí, México, within 30 ml. I have been with the Franciscans since
1988, six years in a Mexican province, and the rest in the Sacred
Heart Province. I was ordained to the priesthood in May of 2004, and
Saint John has been my first assignment as a priest. My current role
in the parish is Parochial Vicar. I am also currently doing part
time studies in order to finish my MA. I really enjoy doing my
ministry here at St. John’s. Many blessings to you all.

Hola a todos:
Tengo dos hermanos y cinco hermanas. Yo soy el cuarto de los mayores.
Toda mi familia vive en San Luis Potosí dentro de una distancia de
50 kl. Ingresé con los Franciscanos desde 1988, seis años en una
provincia Mexicana, y el resto en esta provincia del Sagrado Corazón
de Jesús. Fui ordenado sacerdote en Mayo del 2004. San Juan Bautista
ha sido mi primer cargo como sacerdote. Actualmente soy el vicario
parroquial, y lo que ahora hago es trabajo en la parroquia y estudio
medio tiempo con el fin de terminar mi Maestría en Teología.
Realmente estoy disfrutando mi ministerio aquí en San Juan. Que Dios
los bendiga a todos.
